July is huge on the WSOP/888 US Network as a third series is set to kick off for players in New Jersey and Nevada.
With the big WSOP Online 2021 domestic bracelet series running, as well as the Summer Online Championships in full swing, the WSOP Summer Online Circuit is set to get going as well.
Running from July 16 through July 27, the Summer Online Circuit has more than $1 million guaranteed over the 12 events. At less than half the average buy-in of the bracelet series, Circuit Rings can be had for a bargain compared to Bracelets.
Beyond the Bracelet series, the other series currently ongoing is the massive Summer Online Championships. With more than 90 events across a wide range of buy-ins, the Championships started on July 7 and run through July 27, and there is more than $2 million guaranteed.
The Summer Circuit Series has the added prestige of rings, of course, and only 12 chances to book a title. To play the whole series, players will need to fork out $5,510 for an average buy-in of $459. With an average guarantee of just over $84.500, there is $184 guaranteed for every dollar of buy-in (gtd/buy-in) paid in this series.

How to Win a Ring
Action gets underway on WSOP New Jersey and WSOP Nevada on July 16 with an unusual game for an online series: a fixed limit Omaha 8 game for $320. There is $40,000 guaranteed in that one for $125 gtd/buy-in, but things get really juicy for Day 2.
The first no limit hold’em game of the series comes on the second day, with $75,000 guaranteed for just $215 buy-in. That makes it the second juiciest game of the whole series, behind only the Main Event.
It is fitting that the Main Event is the biggest game of the fortnight. With $200,000 guaranteed for a buy-in of $525, the Main Event posts the highest gtd/buy-in of the series at $381.

In addition to the FLO8 game to start the series off, the Circuit series will also feature three PLO games. There is a $1,000 High Roller PLO on July 21, but the 19th and the 26th also feature four-card games.

New WSOP in Town
While it does not directly impact the ongoing series on the WSOP/888 US Network in NJ and NV, there is exciting news elsewhere from the WSOP. Residents in Pennsylvania can now play WSOP games, though for the time being they are segregated into their own player pool,
That means they do not have access to the Bracelet series, the Summer Online Championships, or the Summer Circuit, but they do have access to something the rest of the network does not—the latest and greatest software from 888poker.
The new Poker 8 software platform from partner 888poker rolled out in Pennsylvania when WSOP PA went live this week. It is the first time the new software has been deployed in the US market, with the NJ/NV/DE network still running on the older version of 888 software.

While this is the first deployment of the new software platform into a US market, the software has been running globally for a while now to generally positive reviews. But while the NJ/NV network may still be running on the classic software, with 33 Bracelets, 12 Rings, and more than $3 million guaranteed on offer through the month of July, it is clear the old software still has some life in it.
