High Roller Sunday Boosts Buyins and Prize Pools
Last week, players at PokerStars NJ, MI, PA, and Pokerstars Ontario could play the operator’s flagship weekly tournaments at a reduced rate, as it was Half Price Sunday Time.
PokerStars is going the other way this Sunday; however, as the buy-ins are increasing, so are the prize pools for all the Sunday Majors across the board.
The less affordable buy-ins may mean that some players are not comfortable playing. PokerStars US is bringing back the Total Knockout format for online poker players in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, as this Sunday’s DoT events will be played at 5-handed TKO tables, with a re-entry option.
During the late registration period, in both $10 and $50 version of the event, PokerStars will be giving away $5 DoT Satellite tickets via random draw, which you can use to win your way into one of the future $50 DoT events.
As far as online poker Ontario players go, they will be in for an even bigger treat, as precious PokerStars merchandise will be given away to the winners and runners-up of the events.
