#GrowPAPoker Today: Social Media Blitz and PokerStars PA Freeroll #GrowPAPoker Today: Social Media Blitz and PokerStars PA Freeroll

Today is a big day for the #GrowPAPoker campaign that pokerfuse has been championing over the past few weeks. Tuesday, May 7, was picked as the day we asked the poker community to take to X (formerly Twitter) and voice their support for shared liquidity in Pennsylvania, with the idea of everyone coming together on the same day to give the movement a strong push in the right direction.

The #GrowPAPoker campaign revolves around one important goal: getting Pennsylvania into the Multi-State Internet Agreement (MSIGA), which would allow the state to combine its player pools with other state members (NV, NJ, MI, and DE), continuing to grow of US online poker.

While many organizations and individuals have contributed greatly to these efforts already, today we call upon all interested parties to let their voice be heard on Twitter/X.

The idea is to send a strong message of support for HB 2078, the bill aimed at making shared liquidity a reality in Pennsylvania, to lawmakers and key stakeholders in the state. You can find all the details in this article, including the list of relevant Twitter accounts and a premade message that you can copy and use.

Support from the operators is important, as these companies have the means to help the growth of poker, and it’s good to see that they recognize the importance of this campaign.

The tournament takes place today, May 7, at 19:00 ET, with the registration opening a few hours before the first hand is dealt. We invite all PA poker players to join and fight for a share of free money, but, more importantly, to use this opportunity to show up in big numbers and demonstrate their support for #GrowPAPoker efforts.

An Important First Step

The US online poker scene has been developing at a rather slow pace. The last couple of years have finally seen some positive movements, which is why it’s more important than ever to keep the momentum going. The best way to do that at this point in time is to see more regulated states join the MSIGA.

Pennsylvania joining forces with New Jersey, Michigan, and Nevada would create a large combined player pool, leading to much healthier traffic, bigger tournament guarantees, and increased tax revenues for the state, to mention just a few of the benefits.

Simultaneously, this large poker network could provide a much needed push for other states that have been toying with the idea of the regulation to finally get over the finish line. The more online poker grows in the US, the more appealing it becomes for those still on the outside.

There is hardly a reason for Pennsylvania not to become a member of the MSIGA, other than the usual red tape surrounding legislative decisions. Your voice can help cut through that red tape and significantly speed up the process.

With that in mind, join today’s #GrowPAPoker social media blitz and help make a difference. A single tweet takes only a few seconds, but enough of them coming in on the same day can nudge things in the right direction and bring us one step closer to bringing down the invisible borders that exist in US online poker today!
