Another major online poker festival is coming to BetMGM Poker this month, with the operator throwing a series dedicated entirely to knockout tournaments across all three of its markets starting on February 20.

The Bounty Blitz Poker Fest will see players compete in the exciting KO poker format over a full week, with each day bringing three separate tournaments and buy-ins ranging from $35 to $1,000.

This would be the operator’s second online tournament series in the US market this year.

BetMGM kicked off the year with its Double Trouble Series, which gave away over $300,000 in prize money in NJ, MI, and PA, announcing an exciting year for all tournament players in these states.

This time around, players will be competing for bounties on top of the regular prizes, which should make the Bounty Blitz Poker Fest even more action-packed and furious.

In total, $738,000 is guaranteed across the three series at BetMGM Poker MI, BetMGM Poker PA, and BetMGM Poker NJ.

New Jersey, as usual, is leading the pack guaranteeing $289,000 while the series in Michigan is promising $229,500 and players in Pennsylvania get a shot at $219,500 in prize money. The series spans eight days, from February 20 through 27.

BetMGM USA Bounty Blitz Series Overview

Total Gtd $289,000 $229,500 $219,500
Main Event Gtd $75,000 $50,000 $50,000

This will be the second time that BetMGM is running a poker series fully dedicated to the concept of knockouts. 2021 finished on a high note with the New Year Knockout Mini-Series giving players a quick preview of what was to come a month and a half later.

However, this time around, the bounties will remain fixed, unlike the last time that had a progressive structure.

BetMGM players still have a chance to boost their bankrolls in the lead up to the festival with the operator’s Pick a Card promo, which awards up to $50 in free bets every day up to February 27, with minimum play at the real money tables being the only requirement.

A Poker Tournament for the Bounty Hunters

The Bounty Blitz Poker Fest kicks off on February 20 at BetMGM Poker NJ, MI, and PA at the same time, with the first tournament of the series scheduled for 5:00 PM.

Each of the festival’s eight days will feature three tournaments, all starting between 5:00 and 9:00 PM. Each tournament will feature the knockout format, which means players will be bounties for players they eliminate.

The schedule between the three states will be very similar, with the only major difference being in the guaranteed prize pools of the tournaments, with BetMGM NJ offering slightly more than BetMGM PA and BetMGM MI.

The buy-ins for the Bounty Blitz Poker fest will start as low as $35, which means all players will have a chance to compete. In addition, there will be plenty of chances to win a seat to the bigger buy-ins through a series of satellite tournaments running at BetMGM.

The series will conclude with the Main Event, scheduled to start on February 27 at 5:00 PM. The Main Event will feature a $1,000 buy-in fee, $500 of which will be reserved for the players’ bounties.

The Main Event will feature a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool in Pennsylvania and Michigan, while the New Jersey Main Event will see at least $75,000 distributed among the winners.

With the series only a few days away, there is still plenty of time to get your bankroll in order, win some seats through the satellite tournaments, or, if you don’t already have an account, sign up with BetMGM Poker and benefit from the operator’s $600 welcome bonus currently available for every new player on the site.
