More Platinum Passes up for Grabs With PokerStars Chest & Ladders Promotion More Platinum Passes up for Grabs With PokerStars Chest & Ladders Promotion

Time is running out for players to get their hands on a coveted Platinum Pass from PokerStars. The second running of the popular PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC) will run in January 2023 as part of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA).

As part of the lead-up promotions to the big event, the operator has added more free passes to the game through a new Chest & Ladders promotion.

There are only a few weeks left for players to get their hands on a coveted Platinum Pass, but PokerStars is still reaching into its gift bag for more free entries. The latest chance for players to book their ticket to the Bahamas for some January poker fun in the sun comes through a new promotion called Chest & Ladders.

The new Chest & Ladders promotion gives players a few ways to snag one of the valuable Passes without too much effort and with some luck. Once a player opts in to the promotion, simply playing poker on the site will earn points towards the promotion.

There are different prizes on offer, including a coveted Platinum Pass to the PSPC in January. The first time the PSPC ran back in 2019, it turned into the biggest $25k live game ever. The massive event ended up with more than $26.5 million in prizes, which included over 300 Platinum Pass holders with a chance at the score of their lives—in fact, it was Platinum Pass winner Ramon Colillas who took down the life-changing top prize of more than $5 million.

Opt-In and Win with Chest & Ladders

PokerStars Chest & Ladders BoardThe latest and one of the last chances to grab a Platinum Pass comes from the current Chest & Ladders promotion running on the global client. Once players opt into the promotion, they just have to play real-money poker to earn points toward the prizes.

The Chest & Ladders promotion is based on the beloved board game Snakes & Ladders with a few modifications. The biggest change on the board is the lack of snakes, meaning a player’s progress is always up the board. In place of the snakes are Gold Chests filled with prizes that include a Platinum Pass.

As players earn points playing poker, their progress bar fills up. Every time they get a full progress bar, a PokerStars Rewards Chest containing a dice roll is awarded. That roll moves the player around the board for a chance to land on one of the prize-containing chests. The prize in the top chest for players who make it all the way up the board is a Platinum Pass.

Chest & Ladders is open through Dec 11, and there is one final chance to win through the promotion. Every player who opts in will win a ticket to a Dec 13 freeroll that has a Platinum Pass as its top prize.

Sign up to PokerStars and climb the Chest & Ladders board—time is running out, but there are still chances to get into what could be the biggest $25k game in live poker history.
