There are multiple ways players can start their journey to the WPT Wynn Las Vegas series. Daily qualifiers are running for buy-ins of $5 and $55 around the clock. The $5 step awards a seat to the daily $55 feeder step, which feeds into a $550 Mega Satellite scheduled to run every Saturday through November 27. Grab your WPT Global download and start plotting your path to the World Championship.

Players can directly buy into the $55 daily step or even the Saturday Mega Satellites. The $550 buy-in WPT World Championship Satellite offers one package worth over $12,000.

The package includes a buy-in to the $10,400 Championship event, a travel stipend of $2000, WPT Global merchandise, and a memorable WPT Global Player Experience during the series.

The WPT World Championship Main Event runs from December 12 to 18. It is structured as a flight event comprising three Day 1s. The package winners will have the option to either play Day 1A (December 12) or 1B (December 13). Players can win only one package per person, and the winner must be 21 years of age or older to play in the Championship Main Event.

The $10,400 WPT World Championship will run as part of the 20-day festival kicking off on December 1 at Wynn Las Vegas. A total of 23 events are part of the schedule, promising over $22 million in guaranteed prize pools. The side events include No-Limit Hold’em events, HORSE, Omaha 8-or-Better, an 8-Game, a Mystery Bounty event, and a Ladies event.

The series kicks off on December 1 with a $500,000 guaranteed, $600 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em event comprising half a dozen starting flights. Marquee events include the WPT Prime Championship coming for a buy-in of $1100 and a $2 million guarantee. The inaugural WPT Ladies Championship has an $1100 buy-in sporting a $200,000 guarantee. The Mystery Bounty carrying a $1600 buy-in and running from December 16 to 19, boasts $2 million in guarantees.

Summer Festival Wraps Up, $1-for-$1 Million Event Still Running

The inaugural online tournament series, the Summer Festival has wrapped up after running for nearly six weeks. The series promised $3.5 million in guaranteed prize money spread over 50 events, accompanied by several side events scattered throughout the schedule.

The series concluded on Monday, August 22, with the $1 million guaranteed Main Event. As many as 480 players had qualified for the Day 2 action of the $300 buy-in Main Event.

With 20% of the field from each starting flight qualifying to Day 2, it is fair to conclude the tournament attracted around 2400 entries. While not enough to meet its ambitious guarantee, the turnout is still quite impressive, given the room had launched just a few months ago.

While the WPT Global Summer Festival may have been over, the $1 For $1 Million Tournament also part of the series, has been extended and its Day 1s will now run throughout September, giving players ample opportunity to qualify for Day 2.

The scope of the tournament has never before been attempted as it is the first time an operator is guaranteeing a $1 million prize money on a $1 buy-in. The tournament is designed to have over $900,000 in overlays — making it one of the most valuable poker tournaments ever hosted.

Day 2 will run on October 1, and the final day will occur on October 2.
