BetMGM Poker US has been in a bit of a holding pattern regarding tournament offerings, but it looks to be over. The real money US online poker network has laid out a series of promotions slated to run through the rest of this month and throughout December, spanning its three states — New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.
First up is a new tournament series billed Big Shots, which kicked off last Sunday and will run for a week in each of the three states with nearly $1 million combined guarantees. A week after the series concludes, the network will host an ambitious 6-figure flagship Sunday tournament again in all three jurisdictions, each promising $100,000 guaranteed prize money.
The special 6-figure flagship tournament will run one Sunday a month from November 27 to December 31, featuring a buy-in of $1000.
Next in the line-up is a brand new Monster Monday Tournament, which, as the name suggests, will run every Monday from November 28 until the end of the year on all three networks promising $3000 in prize money for a modest buy-in of $50.
Meanwhile, starting November 20, the operator will also run mega qualifiers, giving players a chance to secure their seat in the $3 million guaranteed The Return, which will take place in January 2023 at Hotel Borgata Casino Spa & Resorts.

Big Shots: November 13 to 20, 2022
BetMGM has upped the ante with its newest tournament series, dubbed Big Shots. The series is dedicated to high-stakes players, with tournament buy-ins being offered from $100 to $535.
While all three series feature the same number of tournaments, NJ & MI have the same schedule, including guarantees for every tournament. Both series feature $350,000 in guaranteed prize money. The PA schedule also has the same entry fees but promises $100,000 less in prize money.

The series features a variety of events, including bounties, freezeouts, and Omaha — all spread in 6-max, 7-max, or 8-max. The $535 Main Event is a 2-day affair promising guarantees of $75,000 in the Garden State and the Mitten State and $50,000 in the Keystone State. Qualifiers run daily for buy-ins starting as low as $5.
As seen previously, the series encourages players to register early. All those who register before the start of any Big Shots event will receive a ticket to the Big Shots Freeroll taking place on November 26. The freeroll awards five seats guaranteed to the 6-figure Sunday event on November 27, each seat worth $1000.
6-Figure Sunday: November 27 to December 31, 2022
For the first time, BetMGM will host a six-figure guaranteed tournament in NJ, PA & MI, running concurrently, for a buy-in of $1000 ($950 + $50 fee). Kicking off at 6:00 PM ET, players will receive 100,000 as starting stack, unlimited re-entries for the first 18 levels, and 12 to 15 minutes of blind levels, allowing for plenty of play.
With a $100,000 guaranteed prize money, the tournament will need to attract 106 entrants to avoid the overlay. Direct satellites are available for a buy-in of $100. Players can also qualify for the $1000 buy-in tournament via the Early Bird Freeroll that will run as part of the Big Shots series.
The tournament will take place on November 27 and one time in December.

Monster Mondays: November 28 to December 31, 2022
Another fresh addition to BetMGM’s tournament schedule is Monster Mondays. Every Monday, from November 28 until the end of this year, the operator will run the Monster Mondays tournament with a guarantee of $3000.
The tournament will cost $50 ($46 buy-in + $4 fee) and offer a 75,000 starting stack, with blind levels going up every 10 minutes. Late registration will run through the end of level 15, and players will have unlimited re-entry options.
Monster Mondays will run on five occasions at 6:30 PM ET.
