Key Takeaways
  • Players are allowed to transfer their status from another site to an equivalent status on FTP during April.
  • The status could amount to as much as 40% cash back every week.

Full Tilt Poker announced the return of its top-tier Black Card loyalty program Wednesday, while creating incentives to woo players from other sites.

In an effort to boost its base of loyal players, FTP is offering “VIP Amnesty” to players in April, when they transfer status from another site to the equivalent FTP status.

“We understand that players have put many hours, weeks and sometimes months into earning their VIP status on other sites while unable to play on Full Tilt Poker.” Sarne Lightman, head of marketing at Full Tilt, said in a news release. “The amnesty will allow them to trial our Edge Rewards and Black Card programs at the equivalent level and see for themselves the superior benefits their play level offers at Full Tilt Poker.”

In order to transfer the status, a player must grab a screenshot from the competing client and send it to BlackCard@fulltiltpoker.com.

The new promotions seem to be stepping away from Full Tilt’s stance after last year’s relaunch when officials said they would not compete for high-volume grinders.
