InterPoker and associated brands have withdrawn from at least half a dozen gray and black markets, affecting both new and existing customers.

The decision comes weeks after InterPoker’s induction on to both the Belgian and Bulgarian blacklists.

In an email sent to affiliates late last week, as reported on PokerEagles and other affiliate sites, players from Spain, Bulgaria and Belgium are now barred. Existing countries already blocked include Italy, France, Cyprus and the United States.

According to changes made to the terms and conditions on the website over the last week, France, Belgium, Bulgaria, Israel, Mexico and Vietnam have been added to the no-play list, however Spain is not mentioned.

InterPoker is owned and operated by Cryptologic. The changed terms also affect related brands InterCasino and VIP Casino. A spokesperson was unavailable to clarify the exact list of blocked sites.

It is thought to be the first time an online poker room has responded actively to the recently introduced blacklist in Bulgaria. There are over 50 domain names on the new list, including InterPoker and InterCasino, and ISPs are required to block access to the sites.
