NJCOOP 2021 on PokerStars New Jersey: Everything You Need to Know NJCOOP 2021 on PokerStars New Jersey: Everything You Need to Know

When the season changes to fall, poker players’ thoughts turn to PokerStars' Championship of Online Poker (COOP), running in markets around the world.

For New Jersey online poker players, that means the NJCOOP is on deck, with $1 million in total guarantees.

That is on par with the standard NJCOOP series of the past, with only the huge $2,000,000 NJCOOP 2019 standing alone with a bigger guarantee. That is also slightly smaller than NJSCOOP this year, which guaranteed $1.2 million.

There is more at stake in this series than just money though—PokerStars NJ is putting up the hardware as well in the form of seven different Championship Trophy Events through the series.

The operator is also offering a raft of promotions to go with NJCOOP 2021, including depositor and second chance freerolls, NJCOOP Spin & Gos, and a leaderboard challenge across the series.

Read on for full details on all the games and deals you will find for NJCOOP 2021.

Once you make the deposit, you’ll get a free ticket to an exclusive Main Event Depositor Freeroll with 50 Main Event tickets guaranteed.

But new players don’t need to worry about being left out either—just create a new account on PokerStars NJ and you’ll get a ticket to the Main Event Depositor Freeroll for free.

Second Chance Freerolls

There are three Second Chance Freerolls throughout the series, and they are a chance to earn some free tickets to NJCOOP events. Starting on September 10, all you need to do to earn a ticket is play any NJCOOP event and bust before the money.

Second Chance Freerolls run on September 13, 20, and 25, and multiple tickets can be used to re-enter any of the games. There will be $15,000 in NJCOOP tickets awarded across the three games, so there is lots of value to be had.

NJCOOP Spin & Gos

Another way to earn an NJCOOP Main Event ticket is through special Spin & Go games. For $3, players have a shot at a 100x prize pool with a $300 Main Event Ticket up top.

The NJCOOP Spin & Gos are already running, and continue through September 26. The chances of scoring the 100x prize pool are 0.25%, but there are also 10x, 4x, and 2x prize pools as well. With added interest from the promotion, the field may be a bit softer than usual, giving a Spin & Go specialist a chance to score some wins.

NJCOOP Leader Board Challenge

If you fancy yourself a bit of a shark, you can make a run for the NJCOOP Leader Board. Everyone who plays an NJCOOP event (not counting satellites) has a chance to earn points towards the Leader Board, with the top nine places getting points based on finishing position.

Not only is there $2,000 in cold cash for the winner of the Leader Board, there is also a coveted NJCOOP trophy on offer for the highest points. The top ten point-getters will all get cash prizes, with $6,000 in total for Leader Board prizes.
