GTECH’s SPIELO G2, formerly Boss Media, is planning to close its dot-com “International Poker Network” (IPN) and concentrate on regulated markets by Q2 2014, according to a source close to the matter.

SPIELO G2 runs five networks, four of them subject to national regulatory regimes: Canadian Poker Network, Poker Club Italia, Spain Poker Network and Sweden’s Svenska Spel.

The dot-com network skins which would be immediately affected include brands such as Redbet, Poker Heaven, Virgin Games Poker and PokerKings. Paf Diamond Poker which operates under an Åland Islands license in Finland could be retained under the strategy.

A representative from GTECH was not able to comment on the report.
