PokerStars Brings Elite Poker Action to Monte Carlo for EPT Stop PokerStars Brings Elite Poker Action to Monte Carlo for EPT Stop

The European Poker Tour (EPT) from PokerStars is heading back to the land of supercars as the iconic global live tour hits Monte Carlo for the second tour stop of 2023. Monte Carlo is one of the most luxurious stops on the tour, with the games taking place in one of the most spectacular poker rooms on the planet, Salle des Etoiles at the Sporting Club in the Monte Carlo Bay Resort & Hotel.

Monte Carlo is home to one of the world’s top Formula 1 circuits, but starting April 26, it will play host to 11 days of elite poker action as the EPT hits town for the 15th time running in the luxurious city. PokerStars returned to Monaco in style in 2022 after a three-year absence due to COVID-19.

Before the pandemic shutdown, Monaco principality’s capital was an annual tour stop with previous winners, including top-end players like Steve O’Dwyer, Adrian Mateos, and Manig Loser. For the 2023 stop, 11 days of poker will take place in the iconic city, ending on May 6.

Along with the PokerStars LIVE 2023 EPT stop, players can participate in the France Poker Series (FPS), running alongside the main festival. The series kicks off with the first of four starting flights in the €1100 FPS Main Event.

Other games to watch include high-roller tournaments, women’s and seniors’ events, some Mystery Bounty action, and the €5300 EPT Main Event. Get the full schedule from PokerStars Live for EPT Monte Carlo.

Qualify Online Before You Travel

Online Satellites to EPT Monte CarloFor players that prefer to book their seats before they travel, PokerStars has online qualifiers running in the global lobby now as well. For €530, players can compete for a Main Event Package worth €9000.

There are cheaper ways to get to that direct qualifier, though. As is often the case, a few lucky players will have a chance to play the Main Event for free as PokerStars is running freeroll games that have tickets to the €530 qualifier as the top prize.

Outside the freeroll path, players can start playing for the Main Event for as little as €1.10. The €1.10 games play into a €27 qualifier to the direct satellite, while tournaments at €2.20 and €5.50 play to a €55 qualifier. Additionally, a €22 rebuy game feeds directly into the €530 satellite.

Online satellites are running in the client now, and players can qualify for a PokerStars LIVE EPT Monte Carlo Main Event package worth €9000, including the buy-in and travel and hotel expenses.
