ICE is back for another year in the capital city of the UK next week, as it takes up residence in the ExCeL arena from February 5 to 7.

ICE London is the gaming industry’s top event of the year, with sectors such as betting, bingo, casino, lottery, online, mobile, sports betting, social and payments all covered.

Looking At the Numbers

ICE is a veritable who’s who in the online and live gaming industry.

  • 8,500 operators will be in attendance.
  • 150 countries are represented.
  • 33,000 attendees came through the doors last year.

For anyone looking to attend you can check out the floor plan as not to get lost, here.

Who Will Be There

Industry bods will be arriving from all over the globe, from all sectors including US state legislators who will be holding special seminars during the ICE VOX Conferences.

Seven conferences will form VOX and cover topics such as Cybercrime and Security; eSports; International Casino Conference; Modernising Lotteries; World Regulatory Briefing, and – new for 2019 – Advertising and Marketing, and Artificial Intelligence.

ICE VOX has been curated to provide insights and knowledge which deliver tangible benefits that delegates can take back to their businesses and improve performance,” Clarion Gaming’s Sadie Walters said on the ICE website back in 2018. “We have worked closely with the industry to ensure ICE VOX reflects the dominant themes and trends.”

The full agenda for the VOX Conferences can be found here.

For those not wanting to pay to access the VOX seminars, ICE is running free to attend Seminars throughout the exhibition. The free seminars will “provide brief overviews on some of the latest topics and trends affecting various sectors”.

These include a Consumer Protection Zone, Inclusion and Diversity Day and Sports Betting in New Markets.

For those looking for a bit of fun, for the third year running ICE London is also laying on a Super Bowl Party for the Sunday night for all NFL fans that find themselves in Blighty, rather than Atlanta for the big game.

Spaces need to be booked in advance.

ICE is also a great place if you want to pitch your up and coming business idea. Pitch ICE (stand N9-660), sponsored by Best Gambling gives startups in the gaming industry a launch pad to debut their company and get in front of gaming industry experts.

“Being able to pitch ideas offers validation for start-ups and is a key opportunity to connect with others that can help, mentor, invest and support going forwards,” CEO of Best Gambling Ian Beauchamp said in a press release on the partnership with Pitch ICE. “In our opinion it is fundamental that the culture of entrepreneurship is supported and developed by both large and small organisations. Gaming and tech is a highly innovative sector and we at Best Gambling have built our entire business model on the support of start-ups and scale-ups allowing them to gain access to market quickly and as inexpensively as possible while remaining compliant with regulations.”
