GGPoker Launches Boosted Week to Provide Higher Guarantees for all Daily Tournaments GGPoker Launches Boosted Week to Provide Higher Guarantees for all Daily Tournaments

Leading operator GGPoker has just wrapped up the 2021 World Series of Poker Super Circuit Online Series and awarded more than $104 million in prize money. However, the fastest-growing online poker network hasn’t slowed down and already announced the next tournament promotion for players of all bankrolls.

From May 31 until June 6, Boosted Week takes place and will see the guarantees of all daily tournaments bumped up for the span of a week. This includes nine events during peak hours with a big boost while all other daily events receive a regular boost. On average, the prize pools are increased by 20% over nearly 1000 tournaments.

“Even after handing out more than $100M in prizes during the WSOP Super Circuit Online Series, GGPoker doesn’t rest on its laurels – Boosted Week turbo-charges the guarantees in our daily tournaments,” said Paul Burke, Head of Public Relations at GGPoker to pokerfuse.

“Our Daily Main Event $250 will feature a $100,000 guarantee, with other daily majors boasting similar increases – there’s a lot more to play for during Boosted Week!”

The tournaments with boosted prize pools start as low as $1 and also include the Blade High Roller Series with buy-ins of up to $5250. However, more than half of the eligible events are part of the low and mid-stakes to give players with lower bankrolls more bang for their buck.

Leading the line-up of Big Boost Events are the $525 Bounty Hunters HR and the $250 Daily Main Event, which will temporarily feature a guarantee of $100,000. In particular, the former will benefit from a far bigger guarantee, as it usually boasts an average guarantee of just $59,000.

Low-stakes players gain more value up front in the two $10.50 Bounty Hunters Special editions with $20,000 and $25,000 in guarantees, whereas the bargain $5.25 Bounty Hunters Mini Main Event gets bumped from $17,000 on average to $20,000.

Two new editions to the daily schedule round out the tournaments with a Big Boost. The $52.50 Bounty Hunters Special will offer a guaranteed prize pool of $25,000 whereas the Day Saver with a price tag of $55 will pay out at least $20,000 in prize money.

After running their biggest online poker series in history in April, GGPoker continues the trend of the just-finished WSOP Super Circuit Series 2021. Once more, this time, the emphasis seems to be on lower and mid-stakes buy-ins.

More than half of the tournaments with a regular boost feature a price tag of $200 or lower. The Blade Series, which usually attracts High Rollers throughout the week, is an exception to the rule and all include superior five-figure prize pools.

Not only Hold’em events are benefiting from increased prize pools but also the Omaholic Bounty Series. Buy-ins as low as $1 and up to $63 all have more money up for grabs. The Omaholic Friday Night Fight requires $25 to enter but will pay at least $20,000 in prize money, whereas the $52.50 Omaholic Bounty Main boasts $8000 in guarantees.

These daily four-card tournaments complement the new Omaholic Bounty Half MILLION$, which was recently introduced. Throughout the week, players can take part in starting days for the $105 buy-in and take a shot at the $500k guarantee.

High Rollers won’t need to wait long for the next dedicated festival either. Once the latest software maintenance on the GGPoker Network concluded, a new edition of the High Rollers Week was announced. It is slated to take place from June 6 until June 13, overlapping with the final day of Boosted Week. There are 27 tournaments listed with $15 million in guaranteed prize pools.

Boosted Week runs from May 31 until June 6, as the majority of daily tournaments boast an average increase of 20% to their guaranteed prize pools.
