Michigan online poker players finally got their third online poker room this week after the much-anticipated WSOP went live in the state, ending the year-long duopoly of PokerStars and BetMGM.

What You Get When You Register at WSOP MI
WSOP is welcoming the new players with lucrative promotions. These include $50 in free money and a 100% deposit match up to $1000.
There is also no shortage of freerolls as the site is offering Welcome Week Freerolls running daily at varying times with each one awarding $100. A Depositor Freeroll with up to $100,000 in prize money is also up for grabs.
If that weren’t enough, the site has also deployed a $10,000 Main Event Seat Freeroll exclusive to Michigan players. Six-Figure Guaranteed MTTs on Sundays at WSOP MI
Sundays will never be boring at WSOP MI as Michigan players have three big Sunday MTTs to choose from. These guarantee a combined $100,000 in prize money and buy-ins start at $55 and go up to $215, but there are also a variety of satellite routes available to offset the cost.
Buy-ins for the satellites start at $2 and there are some freerolls also running to help players qualify for the $50,000 guaranteed Big WSOP Sunday event for no cost.
These will be running every Sunday and the schedule is likely to expand further once more players flock to the site.

In addition to the above three Sunday MTTs, this Sunday, WSOP will host a “Player Appreciation” tournament that is bound to be extremely valuable to tournament players. This one-off event guarantees $20,000, but for a buy-in of just $10. This would mean that the tournament would need over 2000 entries to cover the guarantee — which is unlikely to happen and, hence, an overlay is inevitable.

A Chance to Win Seats to WSOP 2022
Just like in New Jersey, Nevada, and Pennsylvania, WSOP is also offering satellites to the summer live series to Michigan poker players. The satellites include a seat to the iconic $10,000 WSOP Main Event, a $1000 WSOP seat, and a $500 WSOP seat.
Buy-ins for these satellites are available at $30 and go up to $215 for the $10,000 Main Event. The operator is expected to ramp things up further once the live series approaches.
For now, the satellite to the $10,000 Main Event is scheduled to run every Sunday through April 24. The remainder of the satellites run every Tuesday through April 26.
Furthermore, a special WSOP Main Event freeroll is also scheduled to run this Monday, as mentioned above. This one awards a free seat to the $10,000 event as well as hotel accommodations and travel expenses. To be eligible for this freeroll, players will need to sign up and make a deposit of $10 or more by April 3.

Upcoming WSOP Michigan Online Circuit Series
The entry to a new state means that Michigan players will now get to play the exclusive WSOP Circuit series. The first-ever Michigan WSOP Online Circuit series runs from April 20 through to May 1.
While the full schedule is yet to be revealed, we know some of the details already. There will be12 WSOP Gold Rings up for grabs, with each Ring event guaranteeing $350,000 in prize money. Every winner of the circuit event not only wins a WSOP Gold Ring on top of the first-place prize but will also earn an entry to the prestigious “Tournament of Champions.”
This event is scheduled to run as part of the WSOP 2022 live series, giving away $1 million in prize money, plus the winner gets to take home a WSOP Gold Bracelet. Entry to this event is open to all WSOP Gold Ring or Bracelet event winners.
