"Poker Night In America" Holds Open Casting Call

On the heels of his announcement that he would be taking the position of Creative Director of the new, as yet premiered, poker show “Poker Night In America”, Nolan Dalla announced, via his website, that the show was looking for a few additional players to add to their new show.

In addition to televising the Main Event at the upcoming Empire State Poker Classic held at Turning Stone Casino in New York, the show is also hosting a private, for TV, cash game – and, if qualified, they’d love for you to be a part of that.

Dalla writes that that the show has already locked down some name pros to participate but the show is looking for “some wild cards in this deck of jokers” to add some additional “character” to the already robust roster of $25/50 players.

If selected, the show will fly you (along with a dozen poker pros) to New York, put you up for four nights and get you a seat at the table in front of the cameras. Though, as Dalla put it, here’s the catch—you’ve got to be willing and able to put up your own funds in this No-Limit Cash Game (anywhere from $5-20k).

But act fast, Dalla notes that the show is only taking applications for another 48 hours or so and the action begins
