The US online sportsbook market got a new member this weekend, as New York went live with online sports betting a couple of weeks early. Among the operators who were poised to strike as soon as the market went live on Saturday, Jan 8 was DrafktKings NY.
DraftKings is one of four operators ready to go early, and it was live Saturday morning as the market opened at 9 am offering sports betting over the internet to NY residents. The operator has been running a pre-launch sign up promotion in the lead-up to the official launch.
As part of the pre-launch celebrations, new sportsbook customers have been eligible for a promo offer of $100 in free bets. However, since the site is now live, DraftKings has a new host of promos for customers.
