Moorman Wins LAPC

After collecting over 10M USD in online tournament winnings and claiming so many online Triple Crown titles you need two sets of hands in order to count them, Chris Moorman (GPI#255) finally has his title on the live tournament circuit.

Following years of close calls, Moorman won the prestigious WPT L.A. Poker Classic late Thursday night, joining the WPT Champions Club.

Jones Defeats Deadman in Manchester

Rhys Jones (GPI#302) defeated fellow UK pro Simon Deadman (GPI#175) heads-up for the GUKPT title in Manchester on Sunday.

The victory was Jones’ first ever on the live tournament circuit. Deadman earned the seventh cash – and fourth runner-up finish – of this young poker season.

Minasi Wins WPT National Venice

The Venice Carnival is in full flight at the Casino di Venezia. Alessandro Minasi (GPI#2457) ensured he would have a successful carnival winning the WPT National Series title, earning the € 75,000 top prize.

Gianluca Trebbi (GPI#884) and Giovanni Rizzo (GPI#3354) also final tabled the event.

Baumann Runner-Up at Winamax Final

Amateur Pierre Merlin (GPI#18684) had an almost impossible task in order to win his very first event on the live tournament circuit, defeat 2012 WSOP 10th place finisher Gaëlle Baumann (GPI#1089).

That’s exactly what Merlin did, defeating Baumann and collecting the € 100,000 first prize!

Big Names Final Table IPT Saint Vincent

Walter Treccarichi (GPI#1244) won IPT Saint Vincent last week, surviving the charge from a pair of star Italian players.

Dario Sammartino (GPI#45) and Andrea Dato (GPI#355) were unable to upstage Treccarichi at the final table. Marko Mikovic (GPI#2198), who won the last IPT event (held in Nova Gorcia), finished 9th in Saint Vincent.

Perez Wins BPT Bordeaux

Vincent Perez (GPI#105114) wins the BPT Deepstack event in Bordeaux, France, defeating Anthony Vilaverde (GPI#-) heads-up.

Former BPT Enghien-les-Bains Champion Nicolas Le Floch (GPI#899) final tabled this event, finishing 6th.

Baime Wins MSPT Majestic Star

Ken Baime (GPI#36592) won the latest event on the Mid-States Poker Tour on Sunday, winning the Main Event at the Majestic Star Casino in Gary, Indiana.

Kou Vang (GPI#570), who was runner-up at MSPT Baton Rouge last month, finished 8th in the Majestic Star event.

RG Pro Bernard Lee Wins RG Main Event

RunGoodGear.com presented its very first series at the Downstream Casino in Oklahoma and one of their sponsored pros, Bernard Lee (GPI#1922) took home the title!

Lee would defeat Ross Bybee (GPI#2388) heads-up to win his first tour event in over five years.

Gathy, Roy, Vandersmissen FT WPT in Brussels

Final table play is currently underway at WPT National Brussels as two-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Michael Gathy (GPI#669), WPT Champions Club member Jonathan Roy (GPI#167) and Team Ivey member Kevin Vandersmissen (GPI#281) all highlight a star-studded final table field.

Big Names Abound at Heartland Final

Chris DeMaci (GPI#405) leads the charge later today in Rancho Mirage, California as the Heartland Poker Tour California final table will take place at the Agua Caliente Casino.

Stanislav Barshak (GPI#888), Lily Kiletto (GPI#621) and Dan Heimiller (GPI#114) will also be involved in final table play.

Pahuja, Glantz in Contention at Parx Big Stax

The Parx Casino Big Stax V Main Event has reached final day play.

The final 14 players include two big names that are still very much in contention in the event. Vinny Pahuja (GPI#202) and tournament host Matt Glantz (GPI#37) will each hope to raise the trophy later today near Philadelphia.
